Chris Richardson is a three-time Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association Sectional Coach of the Year and Times Free Press Coach of the Year as the Head Baseball Coach at the McCallie School in Chattanooga.
During Coach Richardson's eight years as head coach, the Blue Tornado have won nearly two hundred games with two region championships, three state tournament appearances, and a state runner-up finish in 2007. In his coaching career at McCallie, Baylor, and with the Chattanooga Colonels, Coach Richardson has coached over 40 players that have gone on to play in College or Professionally.
Coach Richardson's specialty as an instructor is catching and hitting, and has worked with Pat Sullivan (Toronto Blue Jays, Professional scout), Tom Griffin & Butch Chaffin( University of Tennessee), and David Dinger(one of the Southeast's top catching coaches).
