Coach Pierce is the head baseball coach at Grace Academy. He will be serving the Fury as a pitching and hitting instructor. Coach Pierce will also be coordinating Fury Baseball Travel Teams. With 12 years of coaching experience (college, high school and summer travel) Coach Pierce has developed a reputation for player development in the Chattanooga area. He formerly played and coached at King College, ran the Chattanooga Cannons organization, started the baseball program at Silverdale Academy, and is currently the head coach at Grace Academy. He has been named District 5-A Coach of the Year three times where Grace has won 4 district championships in the last 5 years. Some of Coach Pierce's former players (school and summer) have received the following accolades:
- 32 college signees
- 2 Major League Baseball draftees
- 4 Division 1 signees
- 4 All-State performers
- 1 Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year
